How long does it take to set up DocTract?
Onboarding takes a few hours, not weeks. Upload your first policy, route it for approval, and add electronic signatures the same day. Most organizations are live within 24 hours of account creation.
Can we import policies we already have?
Yes. DocTract accepts PDFs, Word documents, and other common formats. Bulk import is supported. During setup, we help you organize everything and establish your approval workflows before going live.
What if we need to change approval workflows later?
Change them anytime. DocTract lets you adjust approval levels, add or remove signers, and modify routing without touching policies already in the system. New workflows apply to policies created after the change.
How do electronic signatures work in DocTract?
Signers receive a secure link via email. They review the policy, sign electronically, and a timestamp and audit trail are automatically recorded. No special software required on their end.
Is DocTract secure for sensitive policies?
Yes. The platform uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and detailed audit logs that track every view, edit, and signature. All data is stored securely in the cloud.
Can we limit who sees which policies?
Completely. DocTract manages permissions by user role. You control who can view, edit, approve, and distribute each policy. Access is logged and can be modified or revoked instantly.
